June 4, 2008 Meeting
LMI/Brookings held the third of three public meetings on the transition to the AHIC Successor on June 4, 2008. These meetings were intended to bring together a diverse cross-section of stakeholder groups interested in participating in the establishment and design of the Successor organization. At this meeting, we engaged in the following activities:
- Dr. Robert Kolodner of ONC presented ONC's strategic plan;
- Dr. Mark McClellan presented the drivers for convening the AHIC Successor;
- The chairs of the four Planning Groups (Organization Governance, Membership, Business Sustainability, and AHIC-to-Successor Transition) announced recommendations going forward for the AHIC Successor organization;
- Dr. McClellan presented the AHIC Successor value proposition and sustainability model.
